What you will do

• Develop and execute country-specific regulatory strategies for Southern Africa, primarily South Africa.
• Lead preparation and submission of dossiers including chemistry, toxicology, ecotoxicology, and residue data.
• Manage registrations, renewals, and label extensions across Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, and Mauritius.
• Create multi-year registration roadmaps aligned with commercial priorities and launch timelines.
• Ensure compliance of labels, SDS, GHS classifications, and packaging in line with local and global requirements.
• Engage with regulatory authorities, distributors, and industry bodies such as CropLife.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Agronomy, Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of regulatory experience in the crop protection industry (7-10+ years preferred).
• Proven experience with South African regulatory frameworks, specifically Act No. 36 of 1947.
• Strong understanding of GLP, GEP, OECD/FAO/WHO guidelines, GHS, and MRLs.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel within Southern Africa, including overnight stays.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively under sustained pressure.
