What you will do

• Define and execute Data & AI strategy aligned to business objectives, identifying high-impact opportunities for growth and efficiency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of 10-15 data professionals, managing budget and fostering experimentation and responsible AI adoption.
• Oversee AI/ML models and advanced analytics solutions from design to production-scale deployment, including AI agents.
• Drive scalable reporting, business intelligence, and insight-driven performance management.
• Lead transition to modern data platforms, secure pipelines, and infrastructure.
• Implement data governance frameworks for quality, lineage, privacy, and stewardship; engage stakeholders to translate challenges into solutions.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience in Data & AI, with strategic vision and hands-on execution capability.
• Expertise in AI innovation, ML model deployment, data engineering, platforms, governance, and analytics.
• Ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and build relationships with senior business leaders.
• Based in or able to work hybrid/onsite in Ipswich, UK as required.
