Platform Engineer

TL;DR

Platform Engineer (IaC/Kubernetes): Own the IaC foundation, shape Kubernetes deployment story, and maintain R&D environments across AWS and on-premises with an accent on reusable modules, cluster troubleshooting, and observability. Focus on building stable infrastructures for engineering, QA, and client deployments, tuning Oracle workloads, and proactively resolving performance bottlenecks.

What you will do

• Build and own core IaC codebase using Ansible, Pulumi/Terraform for reusable modules across AWS and on-premises SaaS client environments.
• Write and maintain Helm charts and cdk8s manifests for Java applications; manage Docker pipelines and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters including Oracle WebLogic workloads.
• Build and maintain stable R&D environments with VMs, containers, Oracle Database infrastructure, AWS networking, IAM, and cost management.
• Develop Grafana dashboards and alerting for platform health and performance to resolve bottlenecks proactively.
• Consult and support teams on automating client environment provisioning.

Requirements

• 3–6 years in Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
• Hands-on IaC with Ansible and Terraform/Pulumi; Kubernetes and Helm in production including charts and debugging.
• Docker containerization, image pipelines, AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, S3).
• Experience with Oracle Database or similar RDBMS (provisioning, patching, tuning).
• Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, comfort with cloud and on-premises.
• End-to-end problem ownership, clear communication across teams, thrive in fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Oracle WebLogic; cdk8s; Grafana dashboards; scripting in Python, Bash, or Groovy.
