TL;DR

Intern - Financial Planning & Analysis (Finance): Supporting regional monthly reporting and financial planning processes for major EU and US markets with an accent on variance analysis and data consolidation. Focus on preparing performance dashboards, contributing to budget cycles, and optimizing FP&A tools.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Parma, Italy (Hybrid: flexible combination of on-site presence and remote training)

Salary: 1000 EUR monthly reimbursement

What you will do

• Assist in preparing regional monthly reports and performance dashboards.
• Perform first-level variance analyses (Actual vs Plan vs Forecast) for TOP5 EU and US markets.
• Contribute to Budget, Forecast, and Long-Range Plan cycles by collecting and validating affiliate inputs.
• Build ad-hoc analyses and KPIs to track the performance of regions, markets, products, or cost centers.
• Collaborate on the continuous improvement of FP&A tools and standardization of reporting models.
• Interact with Country Finance teams, Regional Heads of Finance, and other Global Finance units.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Management Engineering.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements.
• Good command of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Analytical mindset, proactive approach to problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Parma, Italy.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with planning and reporting tools (e.g., PCR/BOARD, BI platforms).
• Experience studying abroad.
