What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing team across detection engineering, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Own end-to-end detection and response outcomes, including signal quality and telemetry coverage.
• Act as incident commander for high-severity events, driving structured response under ambiguity.
• Build and scale automation-first and AI-assisted workflows to reduce MTTD/MTTR.
• Establish and operate against clear SLIs, SLOs, and KPIs for detection effectiveness.
• Drive the engineering roadmap for continuous improvement of security capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams in detection, response, threat intelligence, or security engineering.
• Proven experience owning high-severity incident response in complex environments.
• Deep understanding of SIEM, EDR, telemetry pipelines, and detection ecosystems.
• Strong cloud expertise in AWS or GCP, including identity, infrastructure, and logging.
• Experience leveraging AI/ML (e.g., LLMs) to enhance detection and investigation workflows.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Atlanta office (Hybrid).
