TL;DR

PR Intern (Fintech): Support PR team to promote investment platform and spokespeople in national and trade media, draft press releases, identify news angles from data and trends. Focus on media outreach, key campaigns for retail investment and pensions awareness, and regulatory monitoring.

Location: London, Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). Must be eligible to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Support PR Manager in promoting business and spokespeople across national, trade, and broadcast media
• Identify news stories and angles for media opportunities
• Draft and distribute press releases on personal finance, pensions, investments, and markets
• Collaborate on campaigns championing retail investment and pensions awareness
• Analyze customer data and trends for newsworthy angles
• Assist with consumer research, surveys, and media pitches
• Monitor regulatory announcements and support media outreach and press events

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the UK and over 18 years old as of 1st September 2026
• 2nd year full-time undergraduate student with industry placement year in relevant subject
• Minimum 104 UCAS points at A-level (BCC) or equivalent (e.g., BTEC DMM)
• Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) grades A* to C (9 to 4)
• Excellent writing skills, creative thinking, ability to simplify complex topics
• Interest in personal finance and investment news, confidence in data interpretation
• Strong organisation skills for fast-paced work
