What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services in Golang for billing and payment flows
• Implement payment processing logic, transaction pipelines, retries, reconciliation, and error handling
• Integrate with multiple external payment providers and financial APIs
• Ensure reliability, correctness, and observability of financial operations
• Write maintainable, well-tested production code
• Monitor and debug payment and transaction flows

Requirements

• 5+ years commercial Golang backend development with deep Go architecture and concurrency knowledge
• Experience designing production-grade, high-availability backend services
• Commercial experience with payments or billing systems required
• Hands-on with payment providers/gateways, REST APIs, async processing, event-driven systems
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL and transactional systems/data consistency
• Strong ownership, ability to work independently and make architectural decisions

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple payment providers and subscription billing systems
• High-load backend systems and distributed systems architecture
• Message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Observability tools (metrics, tracing, logging)
