What you will do

• Plan, conduct, and analyze EMC measurements at IC, board, and system levels per international and automotive standards.
• Define pre-compliance and compliance test strategies to identify risks early.
• Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations for EMC issues.
• Influence chip, package, PCB, and system design for EMC robustness.
• Collaborate with design, layout, package, safety, and application teams on filtering, grounding, shielding, and layout.
• Serve as EMC expert for internal teams and automotive customers/OEMs/Tier-1 suppliers.

Requirements

• Fluent in English; German beneficial.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Several years of hands-on EMC experience, ideally in automotive electronics or semiconductors.
• Experience with radiated/conducted emissions, susceptibility, immunity tests.
• Proficiency in EMC test equipment, tools, and software.
• Strong understanding of EMC principles, standards (IEC 61000, CISPR, FCC, CE), and semiconductor interactions.

Nice to have

• EMC simulations and modeling tools.
• Prior laboratory or manufacturing experience.
