TL;DR

International Advocacy Officer (Semiconductors/Public Policy): Support the development and execution of public-policy engagement with a primary focus on EU, German and Dutch institutions. Focus on monitoring and analyzing policy developments, preparing policy positions and briefing notes, coordinating team activities, and stakeholder engagement.

Location: Primarily based in Nijmegen, with occasional travel to The Hague and Brussels. Partial work from home allowed.

What you will do

  • Monitor and analyze international policy and regulatory developments affecting the semiconductor sector.
  • Support preparation of policy positions, briefing notes, and communication materials for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activities across the Advocacy & Alliances team for aligned messaging and priorities.
  • Contribute to strategic projects addressing geopolitical developments.
  • Support engagement with EU and national stakeholders including public authorities and industry associations.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in public affairs, government relations, EU policy, consulting, or think tanks.
  • Master’s degree in International Politics, Public Administration, International Relations, Law, or similar.
  • Proactive, well-organized working style for handling multiple topics in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate political developments into clear briefings.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch (native) and English.
