Tanium Engineer (Endpoint Security)

TL;DR

Tanium Engineer (Endpoint Security): Designing, configuring, deploying, and optimizing Tanium in a distributed and complex enterprise with an accent on endpoint security, incident response, and systems management. Focus on understanding use case requirements and operationalizing them in Tanium, as well as interacting with Tanium technical account managers for key support.

Location: Must be on-site in McLean, VA 2-3 days per week. U.S. Citizenship is required. Active TS clearance required.

What you will do

• Design, configure, deploy, administer, and optimize Tanium in a distributed enterprise environment.
• Implement, deploy, and operationalize Tanium and Tanium use cases.
• Solve complex technical issues independently or within a team.
• Provide services for a Department of Defense customer, performing architecture, administration, and engineering engagements on the Tanium platform.
• Advise customers on Tanium best practices and how to get added value from their Tanium solution.
• Understand use case requirements and operationalize them in Tanium.

Requirements

• Active TS clearance required
• Must be on-site in McLean, VA 2-3 days per week
• U.S. Citizenship is required as most work will be for U.S. Government DOD client.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Tanium experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying Tanium in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge and experience in utility scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, VBScript).

Nice to have

• Tanium TCO and/or TCA Certification.
• TS Clearance.
• Exposure and/or experience with tools like Splunk, Crowdstrike, ZScaler, CRIBL, Tenable, Rapid 7, Microsoft Defender ATP (or MDE), InTune, SCCM.
