What you will do

• Design a flexible compliance rule engine supporting multiple regulatory frameworks with adaptive workflows.
• Build systems with full end-to-end traceability and auditability for sensitive compliance data.
• Ensure reliability of mission-critical services powering financial settlements and merchant integrations.
• Leverage AI for smarter document processing and verification to accelerate onboarding.
• Shape the evolving Node.js stack with modern tools and practices.

Requirements

• Location: Remote or Hybrid in Kyiv/Lviv (Ukraine), Warsaw (Poland)
• 2+ years of Node.js backend experience with solid TypeScript skills.
• Strong ownership and clear tech point-of-view.
• Experience shipping production-ready systems.
• Confident with unit/integration/e2e testing.
• Comfortable with distributed systems principles.

Nice to have

• GenAI experience.
• Next.js.
• Compliance-heavy domains (GDPR/SOC2).
• Golang experience.
