What you will do

• Design and develop internal software tools, services, and frameworks like custom CLI tools, development environment enhancements, and test automation frameworks.
• Gather requirements and feedback from engineering teams to iterate on developer tools addressing real-world needs.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for efficient, reliable, and scalable builds and deployments.
• Contribute to developer platform architecture by evaluating and integrating new technologies and open-source solutions.
• Mentor engineers on using DevX tools and best practices for software delivery.
• Ensure solutions are documented, maintainable, secure; participate in code reviews and design discussions.
• Partner with teams to define and enforce AI standards in the developer ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Software Engineering or DevOps, focused on developer tooling or platforms
• Programming in Python, Java, Go, or C# for clean, maintainable internal tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Software best practices: version control, code reviews, automated testing in workflows
• Containerization and cloud (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/OCI) for dev/test environments
• Strong problem-solving, quick learning, communication, and mentoring experience

Nice to have

• Contributions to open-source developer tools or community involvement
• Experience with developer experience platforms like Backstage
