What you will do

• Define product baselines, system architecture, ICDs, and operation concepts.
• Conduct system-level trade-offs and evaluate design changes to satisfy mission needs.
• Manage technical budgets for mass, propellant, power, and data links.
• Ensure internal interfaces between spacecraft subsystems are strictly maintained.
• Oversee requirements management and contribute to risk assessment and mitigation plans.
• Support AIT/Flight & Test Operations in defining verification plans and specifications.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in spacecraft subsystems such as Structure, Thermal, Avionics, GNC, Propulsion, Comms, or Software.
• Proven experience in defining requirements for spacecraft systems.
• Proficiency in Matlab, Python, or equivalent programming languages.
• Familiarity with ECSS, MIL-STD, or similar space design and test standards.
• Business level English proficiency.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience performing FMECA, reliability analysis, and/or hazard analysis.
• Experience with system-level hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• Practical experience with spacecraft operations.
• Native or business level Japanese.
