What you will do

• Design and implement data systems supporting ML/AI models for health insurance clients, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Develop tools to extract, process, and profile healthcare data from EHRs, claims, pharmacy, and genomic sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists to prepare modeling-ready health and bioinformatics data with high quality and reliability.
• Build and maintain ETL infrastructure using SQL, AWS, Spark, and healthcare analytics platforms.
• Ensure pipelines handle unique medical and biological data requirements effectively.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or quantitative discipline with 7+ years relevant experience.
• Deep expertise in health, medical, and bioinformatics data processing challenges.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL in professional settings.
• Hands-on with big data tools like Apache Spark (PySpark), Databricks, Snowflake.
• Experience with data orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
• Modern DevOps: CI/CD, IaC (Terraform), Docker/Kubernetes, AWS preferred.
