Machine Learning Engineer Lead

TL;DR

Machine Learning Engineer Lead (ML/AI): Lead development of scalable ML systems for demand planning, budget forecasting, visual recognition, and recommendation models with an accent on full lifecycle management, MLOps pipelines, and performance optimization. Focus on building POCs, designing feature stores, integrating Generative AI, and researching emerging technologies.

Location: Remote from anywhere (Argentina operations)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor the team on skill development and best practices.
• Guide SPEC creation, documentation, and stakeholder alignment on technical and business goals.
• Develop, optimize, and oversee data pipelines and ML models from EDA to deployment and monitoring.
• Build POCs, feature stores, and scalable data infrastructures.
• Optimize system performance, latency, memory, and throughput.
• Research emerging technologies and participate in interviews.

Requirements

• Experience leading and mentoring teams in Data/ML projects and guiding technical decisions.
• Proven stakeholder collaboration to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience implementing ML systems with model lifecycle, monitoring, and MLOps.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Jupyter, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, Plotly).
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Nice to have

• ML workflows (Airflow, MLflow, H2OAI, Databricks).
• Background in AdTech or Generative AI.
• Deep Learning frameworks (Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Solid command of English for technical communication.
• Basic Docker knowledge.
