What you will do

• Solve challenging cloud infrastructure security problems in core building blocks and golden paths.
• Enable engineers to build and ship secure solutions quickly.
• Build and extend Platform Security solutions for hirify.global's infrastructure.
• Leverage and influence hirify.global products to secure infrastructure and provide feedback for improvements.
• Rotate through internal projects with deep exposure to infrastructure, focusing on service mesh and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing, deploying, and extending service mesh in production Kubernetes (Consul, Envoy, Cilium, Vault, Istio).
• Software engineering background with hands-on code review; Go, Python, or Rust.
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Prior experience in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or Cloud Security.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; stay updated on security best practices.
