What you will do

• Define engineering strategy and technical roadmaps for global backend infrastructure.
• Manage and scale multiple engineering teams through pre-production, production, and post-launch phases.
• Collaborate with product and delivery teams to align technical implementation with the product roadmap.
• Direct and manage the performance of external engineering teams across different geographies.
• Lead technical and architectural decisions to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.
• Drive hiring, performance management, and career development for software engineers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years in a leadership position as an Engineering Manager specifically within game production.
• 2+ years of game development experience across mobile, console, or PC platforms.
• Proven expertise in building reliable, scalable, and maintainable backend distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Golang or Java.
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle for large code bases across multiple platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience developing or managing full-stack solutions.
• Experience managing co-development or outsourcing relationships.
• Experience shipping titles using Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with build and release pipeline management.
