TL;DR

Financial Controller (Finance): Handling monthly and annual financial closings, reporting, and analysis with an accent on revenue/cost reviews, profitability evaluation, and budget adherence. Focus on creating forecasts, cashflow reports, and collaborating with accounting and business units on financial operations.

Location: Prague office, hybrid remote work after mutual agreement

What you will do

  • Participate in monthly and annual closings: review revenues, costs, timesheet allocations, and ensure completeness/accuracy.
  • Monitor financial indicators, evaluate profitability, revenues, and expenses.
  • Create recurring and ad hoc reports like cashflow, revenue forecasts, headcount stats.
  • Cooperate with accounting, suppliers, business units, auditors, and seniors on sub-tasks.
  • Oversee financial operations and prepare/process documents per team responsibilities.
  • Support budget preparation and financial statements.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (written and oral) and Czech/Slovak
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, basic accounting, and analysis
  • Good Excel skills for data work
  • 1-2+ years in controlling or FP&A experience
  • Degree in economics or equivalent experience
  • Independence, diligence, proactivity, accuracy with numbers, flexibility for deadlines

Nice to have

  • Power BI or Power Query knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
