Site Reliability Engineer

TL;DR

Site Reliability Engineer (Kubernetes): Operate and improve production services for an AI-native legal workspace with an accent on observability, incident response, and automation. Compensation: $170K - $220K

What you will do

• Operate and improve production services, including deployment, monitoring, and system health
• Build and maintain observability tooling (metrics, logs, traces) for high signal-to-noise ratio
• Contribute to SLI/SLO definition, alerting, reliability reporting, and post-incident follow-ups
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive preventive fixes
• Reduce operational toil through automation and developer tooling
• Collaborate with product and platform engineers on deployment safety and resilience

Requirements

• New York City-based; 5-day in-office required
• Experience building and shipping software with backend and infrastructure skills
• Comfortable debugging production systems under pressure
• Passionate about maintainable code and automation for operational problems
• Curious and proactive in understanding system failures
• Familiar with observability, incident management, on-call, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes
