What you will do

• Develop and refine cryptographic policies, standards, and baselines for encryption, key management, and secure communication.
• Update policies to align with regulations like NIST, GDPR, CRA, and NIS2 in collaboration with senior experts.
• Partner with IT, product, legal, and compliance teams to integrate cryptographic best practices into systems and architectures.
• Identify weaknesses in cryptographic algorithms, protocols, or implementations and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to embed security into product and platform designs.
• Contribute to training and awareness on cryptographic requirements across hirify.global.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Extensive experience in design, analysis, and implementation of cryptographic algorithms and protocols (symmetric, asymmetric, hashing, digital signatures, key exchange).
• Hands-on experience with KMS, PKI, and HSM.
• Experience in enterprise security environments and security operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Cryptography, IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related.
• 4–9 years of security and cryptography experience.
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, IEC 62443.

Nice to have

• Experience defining or running security baselines or assessments.
• Hands-on experience with cryptographic libraries in real-world systems.
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
