TL;DR

AI Engineer (SaaS): Design, build, and deploy internal AI solutions powering digital transformation across portfolio companies with an accent on AI agents, LLM integrations, and operational automations. Focus on partnering with business teams to identify opportunities, iterating based on feedback, and scaling reusable components.

Location: Fully remote across Europe, comfortable collaborating across European and Nordic time zones, with occasional travel to hirify.global offices.

What you will do

  • Design and build AI agents, automations, and LLM integrations solving operational challenges across portfolio companies.
  • Partner with business teams to scope high-impact AI opportunities and translate into production solutions.
  • Iterate on deployed solutions based on usage feedback to drive adoption and improvement.
  • Contribute to shared engineering foundation with reusable components and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend new AI tools, models, and frameworks.
  • Document solutions and support AI Champions network with guidance and workshops.

Requirements

  • 2+ years hands-on experience building and deploying AI or software solutions professionally
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency with LLM APIs and frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex) for production integrations.
  • Experience with AI agents or automations interacting with business systems and data.
  • Communication skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort working remotely across European/Nordic time zones with occasional travel.

Nice to have

  • AI solutions in SaaS, scale-up, or multi-product environments.
  • Familiarity with RAG, fine-tuning, or AI evaluation frameworks.
  • Running workshops, training, or developer enablement.
