Merchant Onboarding Analyst (Spanish Fluent): Manage end-to-end merchant activation for 's buy-now-pay-later platform with an accent on KYB checks, documentation review, and regulatory compliance under Bank of Italy supervision. Focus on conducting daily onboarding calls, solving blockers in real-time, monitoring first transactions, and optimizing processes to reduce time-to-live.
Location: Milan, Italy (2-days remote weekly)
Compensation range: 24-26K€ gross yearly

What you will do
- Manage standard and complex onboarding cases from first contact to go-live, including KYB checks and documentation review.
- Run daily calls with prospective merchants to solve blockers in real-time and maintain records in internal systems.
- Support merchants through first transactions post-go-live, monitor documentation, and flag risks early.
- Identify onboarding bottlenecks, propose improvements, and share insights with Product, Sales, and Compliance teams.
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish (C1-C2) as you'll communicate directly with Spanish merchants.
- Proficient in English and Italian (B2 minimum in both).
- Prior short experience in KYC/KYB and/or AML in a regulated entity.
- Data-driven, organized, comfortable with ambiguity, and proactive in fixing inefficiencies.
