TL;DR

Merchant Onboarding Analyst (Spanish Fluent): Manage end-to-end merchant activation for hirify.global's buy-now-pay-later platform with an accent on KYB checks, documentation review, and regulatory compliance under Bank of Italy supervision. Focus on conducting daily onboarding calls, solving blockers in real-time, monitoring first transactions, and optimizing processes to reduce time-to-live.

Location: Milan, Italy (2-days remote weekly)

Compensation range: 24-26K€ gross yearly

What you will do

  • Manage standard and complex onboarding cases from first contact to go-live, including KYB checks and documentation review.
  • Run daily calls with prospective merchants to solve blockers in real-time and maintain records in internal systems.
  • Support merchants through first transactions post-go-live, monitor documentation, and flag risks early.
  • Identify onboarding bottlenecks, propose improvements, and share insights with Product, Sales, and Compliance teams.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish (C1-C2) as you'll communicate directly with Spanish merchants.
  • Proficient in English and Italian (B2 minimum in both).
  • Prior short experience in KYC/KYB and/or AML in a regulated entity.
  • Data-driven, organized, comfortable with ambiguity, and proactive in fixing inefficiencies.

  • Exposure to startup/scale-up environments.
  • Strong merchant experience focus and clear communication style.
