What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP CAP services and applications with CDS models, business logic, and extensions aligned to S/4HANA clean core.
- Build and expose APIs using OData v4 and REST, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure performance and scalability.
- Act as technical lead: define standards, review code, mentor juniors through hands-on coding and problem-solving.
- Design CAP services integrating with S/4HANA and external systems using sync/async patterns.
- Participate in workshops, translate requirements to CAP solutions, provide estimates, and engage stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years SAP development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP CAP (Node.js or Java)
- Solid CDS modelling, services, CAP architecture knowledge
- Experience leading CAP development hands-on and integrating with S/4HANA
- Comfortable in Agile environments
- Remote from Philippines, Sydney Standard time
Nice to have
- Experience with Fiori/UI5 consuming CAP services
- Event-driven or API-led architectures in CAP
- Multiple CAP projects/clients exposure
