Senior Experience Designer

What you will do

• Lead project workstreams or small teams, owning end-to-end delivery from opportunity framing to interaction and visual design.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define experiences meeting functional and emotional needs.
• Contribute to business development through proposal writing and pitching.
• Mentor juniors and foster positive design team culture via knowledge-sharing.
• Conduct research, usability testing, benchmarking, and synthesize insights into strategies.
• Develop use cases, concepts, interaction models, information architecture, user flows, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
• Create, scale, and govern design systems including component libraries and style guides.
• Leverage visual design skills in typography, layout, color, and responsive design; lead presentations with storytelling.

Requirements

• Business-level fluency in both German and English
• 4+ years in UX/UI, product, or visual design with end-to-end workstream ownership from agency, consultancy, startup, or in-house.
• Strong portfolio showing interaction design, visual craft, and strategic thinking.
• High proficiency in Figma for interaction logic, components, themes, and tokens.
• Structured approach to interaction patterns, site maps, user flows, wireframes across mobile/desktop.
• Strong experience creating and scaling design systems.
• Ability to rationalize decisions, present work clearly with storytelling.
• Product development mindset for autonomous work, trade-offs, and collaboration with business/tech teams.

Nice to have

• Degree in Interaction Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or related.
• Experience designing/prototyping GenAI products (LLM-based, agentic systems, multi-modal AI, content generation).
• Integrating GenAI tools into design workflows for research, ideation, prototyping.
• Knowledge of accessibility principles.
