Vulnerability Management Specialist (Cloud & Container)

TL;DR

Vulnerability Management Specialist (Cloud & Container): Scheduling, detecting, analyzing, reporting and managing emergency patching processes across cloud and container environments with an accent on risk-based vulnerability tracking and compliance assurance. Focus on developing policies, driving priority patching, coordinating stakeholder responses, and providing strategic guidance to the team.

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands. Must be already based and allowed to work in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain patch and vulnerability management policies, standards, processes, systems, and measurements for compliance.
• Drive the priority patching process and coordinate responses to critical vulnerabilities.
• Manage, monitor, and report on emergency patching processes and compliance with hirify.global standards.
• Align on risk mitigation steps with stakeholders, monitor progress, and report outcomes.
• Lead strategically within the Vulnerability Management team, providing guidance and support to members.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, IT, computer engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4+ years hands-on experience in vulnerability management, with extensive proven expertise in Cloud & Container environments (must).
• Experience in vulnerability management across applications, servers, networks, APIs, workplace (plus).
• Knowledge of malware, hacking techniques, cyber threats, and security trends.
• Experience in threat/vulnerability analysis, IT security risk assessments on IT services, networks, cloud infrastructure, applications.
• Excellent English verbal, written communication, and presentation skills. Command of Dutch (plus).
• Team player with strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills in international environments.

Nice to have

• Experience as security analyst in large organization.
• Valid certifications: CCSP, CISSP.
• Experience/knowledge of Agile SAFe.
