TL;DR

Technical Enablement Engineer (Cisco): Provide pre-sales consultation, training, demonstrations, and education to partners on Cisco solutions in networking, datacenter, security, and cloud with an accent on building and enhancing partner practices. Focus on designing multi-vendor solution demos, delivering technical presentations, and driving Cisco sales growth through partner enablement.

Location: Buffalo, NY or Scottsdale, AZ, United States of America (2 openings: 1 South East US, 1 Central US)

Salary: USD $78,000 - $124,800 per year

What you will do

  • Work closely with partners, sales, and vendor teams to drive Cisco sales and support Enterprise agreements.
  • Provide pre-sales consultation, training, and demonstrations to help partners build practices with new vendors and solutions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain multi-vendor equipment for solution demos aligned with customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining solutions to technical, sales, and executive audiences.
  • Educate partners on best-in-class IT solutions in security, cloud, data center, and networking.
  • Build trusted relationships with resellers and vendors for collaborative business planning.

Requirements

  • Located in US (Buffalo NY, Scottsdale AZ, South East US, or Central US)
  • Strong background in Cisco solutions, networking, datacenter, and/or security.
  • Hands-on proficiency with data center/cloud virtualization, network infrastructure, cyber security, and software integrations.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for in-person and virtual delivery.
  • Experience interfacing with technical, sales, and executive personas.
  • Fundamental industry certifications aligned to technologies or vendors.
  • 4-year degree or equivalent + 3 years functional experience (min 1 year position-specific).
