Network Engineer

Location: Poland (fully remote)

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure ensuring stability and scalability
• Monitor performance with Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG; identify and resolve issues proactively
• Manage incidents and service requests per SLA, coordinating with vendors
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
• Automate routine processes and maintain accurate network documentation
• Provide on-call support and collaborate with sysadmins, security teams, and stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Firepower
• Advanced knowledge of protocols: VXLAN EVPN, BGP, OSPF, STP (MSTP/RSTP), GRE, L2TP, IPsec, LACP, vPC
• Familiarity with network services in Linux, Hyper-V, VMware environments
• Experience with automation: Python, Ansible; monitoring: Zabbix, Grafana, PRTG, NetBox
• Proficiency in troubleshooting tools: tcpdump, Wireshark, iPerf, traceroute, nmap
• Understanding of network security: ACLs, NAT, segmentation, firewall policies, IDS/IPS
• Ability to create detailed L2/L3 diagrams; strong analytical and communication skills
