Middle Data Science Engineer

TL;DR

Middle Data Science Engineer (Python/ML): Develop, deploy, and maintain ML models and systems for incidents detection and image/audio analysis with an accent on data processing pipelines, MLOps, and streaming/batch systems. Focus on designing robust ML workflows, experiment validation, and ensuring business value delivery through scalable infrastructure.

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Machine Learning models and systems
• Perform data analysis, preparation, and processing for ML workflows
• Contribute to ML system design, including data annotation and processing pipelines
• Follow security guidelines, identify risks, and collaborate on design reviews for robustness and reusability
• Support engineering delivery, resolve issues, ensure correct deployment and stable operation
• Create documentation, monitor solutions, ensure performance standards, and promote reuse of internal technologies

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in the field with software engineering background
• Upper-Intermediate English and Russian language is a must
• Strong proficiency in Python and data processing frameworks for streaming, batch, and asynchronous systems
• Solid foundation in classical Machine Learning, deep learning, and advanced mathematics
• Experience with MLOps tools, ML lifecycle management, backend systems, and infrastructure
• Ability to design systems using standard design patterns, experiment design, and validation
• Understanding of business value delivery, strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder alignment

Nice to have

• Willingness to learn additional languages such as Golang
