Project Manager (Automotive)

TL;DR

Project Manager (Automotive): Overall responsibility for successful execution of customer and internal R&D projects with an accent on achieving technical, cost, quality, time targets and customer satisfaction. Focus on managing cross-location project teams, effective customer communication, budget control, and developing follow-up business.

This position is for candidates who reside in Korea and have Korean proficiency appropriate for Korean business. Songdo, Incheon, KR.

What you will do

• Ensure achievement of project targets (technical, cost, quality, time) and customer satisfaction.
• Manage project initialization, planning, team formation, execution, budget control, and wrap-up.
• Deliver effective communication with the customer and report progress to POM.
• Support cross-line organization cooperation and align with STL on technical direction.
• Develop follow-up business in cooperation with Key Account Manager and handle escalations.

Requirements

• Mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering graduate from a university of technology or applied sciences.
• Basic knowledge of internal combustion engines and calibration.
• 3 to 5 years of project management experience, including managing SOP projects.
• Business proficiency in English, especially in writing and oral communication.
• Capable of working independently and in teams with a strong sense of responsibility.
