What you will do

• Lead implementations, configurations, and upgrades for council compliance modules including permits, approvals, infringements, licences, and workflows.
• Design and build workflows, business-process automation, document templates, and views for structured, audit-ready processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map processes, highlight risks, define controls, and embed compliance gates.
• Manage data migrations, user-acceptance testing, reporting, and data integrity for accurate record-keeping and audits.
• Deliver client-facing consulting through workshops, training, support, and advisory on compliance best practices and change management.
• Review, audit, and document processes to incorporate improvements and adapt to regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Solid experience in local government compliance or regulatory environments (council staff, permits officer, system admin).
• TechnologyOne CiA experience (must-have).
• Understanding of compliance lifecycle: permits, licences, infringements, approvals, records, audit trails, governance.
• Strong business-process analysis skills for mapping messy processes to clean, compliant workflows.
• Technical skills in workflows, BPA, document templates/views, data migration, and ERP configurations.
• Excellent communication for workshops and stakeholder management; mindset for continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience building BPA, t-scripts, DocOnes in TechnologyOne CiA Compliance module.
• Background in council compliance, permits, or regulatory roles seeking broader consulting impact.
