What you will do

• Review math video content and suggest adaptations for Australian edition, covering spelling, punctuation, grammar, and terminology.
• Ensure cultural relevance for Australian students, avoiding US-centrism.
• Verify adherence to IXL style guide, grade-level appropriateness, and pedagogical relevance per Australian conventions.
• Maintain overall quality and consistency of math content for Australia.
• Answer queries on Australian English, cultural customs, and math curriculum.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in relevant field and prior experience in related role.
• Impeccable knowledge of Australian English linguistic conventions.
• Strong understanding of Australian culture and customs.
• Familiarity with style manuals (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style).
• Experience as math teacher in Australian primary or secondary schools.
• Extensive knowledge of Australian pedagogy, teaching methodologies, and student reading/knowledge levels.
• Strong communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
