What you will do

• Build custom sections, blocks, components, and themes to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Optimize core Shopify features for performance, scalability, and maintainability using APIs, metafields, and Liquid.
• Integrate third-party apps, payments, shipping, taxes, and checkout customizations.
• Migrate websites from other platforms to Shopify and implement advanced features via Storefront GraphQL.
• Ensure page speed optimization, SEO/CRO practices, and responsive pixel-perfect designs from PSDs.
• Collaborate with team leads, PMs, designers; QA work, use GIT, handle multiple projects under deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in Shopify websites development.
• Expertise in Shopify Liquid, theme development/customization, Metafields, Metaobjects, Shopify CLI.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES, Shopify JS APIs (Storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections), jQuery.
• Strong knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, W3C standards, accessibility.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Availability for 40 hours/week, 9:00 am–6:00 pm PST; reliable remote setup (fast PC, internet, etc.).

Nice to have

• Shopify Certification.
• Experience with WordPress, Magento, BigCommerce, Ruby, PHP/MySQL, AJAX, SCSS.
• Familiarity with Shopify Storefront GraphQL API (Admin/Storefront layers).
