What you will do
- Develop, refactor, and optimize core engine systems focusing on long-term performance and scalability.
- Build and improve engine modules while ensuring modularity and compatibility.
- Analyze existing functions, assess technical feasibility, and recommend improvements or new systems.
- Maintain performance, support production features, and propose innovative changes inspired by industry engines.
- Document work to transfer knowledge to other teams and users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent.
- 1-3 years’ experience in software programming, ideally in video games.
- Excellent understanding of engine systems architecture and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems.
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, detail-oriented, and interest in hardware architecture.
