What you will do

• Build web applications and services using JavaScript stack, including new services from scratch and maintaining existing ones.
• Design, build, and maintain APIs and tools for internal and customer-facing applications.
• Ensure server-side code interfaces correctly with databases.
• Write robust, high-performance code.
• Identify and fix defects using tools and ingenuity.
• Propose solutions to improve infrastructure, processes, and agile culture.

Requirements

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (Node.js)
• Hands-on experience with Hasura
• Experience with AWS, especially Cognito
• Knowledge of building web services (REST, GraphQL)
• Knowledge of relational (Postgres, MySQL) and document-oriented databases
• Experience with Git and version control
• Solid understanding of backend architectures and security best practices

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js
