Power Plants Belgium, a subsidiary of Energy Projects, develops, builds, finances and operates decentralised energy generation plants for industrial customers in Belgium and the Netherlands using technologies like cogeneration, biofuels, hydrogen, and energy storage.
What you will do
- Set overall targets including Capex allocation and manage full P&L for the business.
- Oversee operations and maintenance strategy, drive digitalisation and technology initiatives.
- Ensure HSE-compliant operations and implement HSE framework.
- Drive continuous decarbonisation through new technologies.
- Implement competency model for business development and leverage cross-company synergies.
- Build organisational culture and manage internal/external relationships.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Engineering or related field.
- Substantial executive leadership experience, ideally international, building and leading organisations.
- Strong background in commercially driven industry with deep energy sector expertise (urban development, industrial clients, city infrastructure).
- Excellent leadership, management and organisational skills with delivery track record.
- Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking.
- Results-oriented, pragmatic, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Fluent English and Dutch (C1), willing to travel 20-40%.
