What you will do

• Lead design, development, testing, delivery, and support of software systems across agentic systems, cloud/distributed infrastructure, data platforms, ML engineering/MLOps, simulations, workflow orchestration, service mesh, applications, and DevSecOps.
• Contribute to product development strategy, architectural design, roadmapping, resource planning, sprint management, and productivity improvements like code reviews and automation.
• Collaborate asynchronously with engineers, researchers, data scientists, and product managers across time zones; contribute to technical strategy and represent the company externally.

Requirements

• Passion for clean energy and fighting climate change.
• BS/Master's in quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Operations Research, etc.) or equivalent.
• Software development experience in Python, Typescript, Go, Julia, C, or Rust.
• 8+ years relevant work experience.

Nice to have

• PhD in quantitative discipline.
• Expertise in ML/AI pipelines, agents/LLMs, orchestration (e.g., Dagster), trading systems, electricity markets, data engineering tools.
• Deep expertise in cloud infra, data eng, MLOps, simulations, workflows, microservices, or app dev.
