Assistant Merchandiser

Assistant Merchandiser (Fashion Retail): Planning and developing category strategies to drive sales performance and profitable growth for hirify.global with an accent on setting up budgets, managing product size ratios, and building the WSSI. Focus on liaising with the Merchandiser to ensure appropriate stock levels and providing the buying team with a clear merchandise framework.

Location: Hilversum. Hybrid work model, combining office and remote working.

What you will do

• Set up budgets for each quarter with the Merchandiser.
• Recommend width and depth of options planned for each quarter in line with demand.
• Manage and analyse product size ratios.
• Build and manage the WSSI with the Merchandiser.
• Liaise with the Merchandiser to ensure appropriate levels of stock within season.
• Manage slow sellers and recommend any stock transfers out.

Requirements

• Has at least 3-years’ proven merchandising experience within a fashion retailer.
• Has a strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Enjoys working collaboratively, as part of a team and building strong working relationships.
• Has knowledge in SAP (BW), advanced Excel skills and very good English language skills, both written and verbal.
• Is self-confident, fun and passionate about retail and merchandising.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and fun environment.
