Prescribing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Mental Health)

What you will do

• Provide evidence-based psychiatric medication management through intake and follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations.
• Create patient-centered treatment plans and provide longitudinal medication treatment.
• Document recommendations, communicate with patients, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Care for children, teens, and young adults across a range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited PMHNP program, or from an accredited PA program with PANCE certification.
• Hold an unrestricted state license.
• Have at least two years of professional practice experience.
• Be a full-time resident of the United States.
• Have office space with the ability to see clients in Allentown.
• Experience providing care to patients with varied diagnoses and clinical severity levels.

Nice to have

• Active DEA license.
• Additional psychiatry certification, fellowship training, or academic psychiatry credentials.
• Certification or clinical experience working with minors.
• Ability to offer in-person care.
