What you will do

• Act as a trusted technical advisor, translating cloud roadmaps into business value, risk assessments, and clear enterprise outcomes.
• Define multi-year enterprise strategy for cloud adoption, migration, and modernization with a focus on GCP and interoperability with AWS.
• Establish and enforce global cloud governance frameworks, architectural standards, and reusable deployment/security/operations patterns.
• Architect and lead implementation of complex large-scale solutions on GCP, including GKE, Cloud Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, and Cloud Spanner.
• Design integration patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud systems with low-latency secure connectivity and consistent IAM across platforms.
• Drive DevSecOps and cloud security posture, cost optimization, visibility/monitoring strategy, and automated governance guardrails; mentor and grow Senior/Lead Cloud Engineers.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years in Cloud Architecture leadership roles delivering enterprise-scale transformations.
• Strong mastery of GCP services, networking, and security as the primary platform.
• Deep architectural experience in a secondary cloud (AWS preferred, e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, EKS) or Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, including multi-cloud modules.
• At least one programming language (Java or Python).
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred; secondary cloud professional/expert certification preferred.
