What you will do

• Craft and maintain C4 diagrams, technical roadmaps, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) balancing performance, security, and cost.
• Drive technical decision-making and champion design patterns such as hexagonal, event-driven, and reactive architectures.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to decompose epics into technical user stories and manage the architecture runway.
• Mentor mid and senior-level engineers in architecture principles and code quality to accelerate professional growth.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, and ArgoCD, while planning the transition from monolith to microservices.
• Define observability standards including SLIs, structured logging, and distributed tracing to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Java 21 and the Spring Boot 3.x ecosystem (Web, Security, Data JPA, Cache).
• Strong experience designing and operating RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and Redis for caching.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in GitOps workflows, Tekton pipelines, and ArgoCD.
• Must be based in Brazil.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC service communication and WebSockets for event streaming.
• Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC authentication flows, JWT validation, and OPA (Open Policy Agent).
• Experience with Terraform, mTLS implementations, and Pub/Sub messaging patterns.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking (CNI, Network Policies) and sidecar security patterns.
• Skill in performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
