TL;DR

Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot): Designing and maintaining scalable backend services and high-quality web applications with an accent on Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Focus on implementing gRPC/REST APIs, ensuring system reliability through Kubernetes orchestration, and integrating secure authentication flows.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Brazil)

What you will do

Design and build scalable backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
Implement and evolve REST and gRPC APIs following best practices and versioning standards.
Manage PostgreSQL schema design and performance tuning, integrating with Redis caching.
Develop and debug containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
Implement security standards including OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and RBAC.
Optimize CI/CD workflows using Tekton, Jenkins, and ArgoCD following GitOps principles.

Requirements

Strong production experience with Java (17 or 21) and Spring Boot.
Proficiency with PostgreSQL, JPA, and Hibernate.
Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployments and debugging.
Hands-on experience with OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT for backend security.
Advanced English proficiency.
Must be based in Brazil.

Nice to have

Experience with Kafka or other event-driven technologies.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases and Redis caching.
Exposure to GCP services such as GKE, IAM, and Cloud Logging/Monitoring.
Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD, Helm, or Kustomize.
Background in prototyping or integrating AI-driven automation.
