TL;DR

Motion Designer / Content Producer (Entertainment): Creating short-form video content and animations for hirify.global platforms with an accent on storytelling, pacing, and fan engagement. Focus on concepting, scripting, and editing character-driven content for TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.

Location: Remote (Must be based in USA, specifically Los Angeles or El Segundo, California)

Salary: $40 - $50 / hourly

What you will do

  • Concept, script, and edit short-form video content with strong hooks and cliffhangers across various genres.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and art directors to create character-driven content native to social platforms.
  • Develop series promos, trailers, and explainer content for the hirify.global universe.
  • Create expressive animations sourced from comic panels to elevate characters and fictional worlds.
  • Produce both high-quality motion design and quick-turn, unpolished videos for social media.
  • Stay updated on fan culture, animation trends, and narrative formats popular with Gen Z and Millennial audiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a creative agency or entertainment team.
  • Strong storytelling instincts with a focus on pacing, emotion, and structure.
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, and general knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong copywriting and scripting background.
  • Experience with character rigging and a strong comprehension of animation principles.
  • Portfolio/reel showcasing professional motion design and a unique creative point of view.

Nice to have

  • 3D animation skills.
  • Experience building content or fan edits in the webcomic, animation, or fandom space.
  • Ability to voice content/characters or willingness to be on camera.
