What you will do

  • Conduct assessments and audits of records management practices and SharePoint Online permissions.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of physical and digital records, including inventory, classification, and cataloging.
  • Implement and maintain Army standardized classification systems and retention schedules in SharePoint Online.
  • Coordinate the digitization of long-term records and ensure quality control during the process.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including HIPAA and FOIA/PA.
  • Develop and deliver records management training and provide ongoing customer support.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Library Science, Information Management, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in records or information management.
  • Active Secret Clearance or higher is required.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint Online and electronic document management systems.
  • Familiarity with federal records requirements and lifecycle management principles.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama.

Nice to have

  • CRM, IGP, or similar records management certification.
  • Deep knowledge of Army records management regulations and retention schedules.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 retention policies and labels.
  • Background in information governance or process improvement methodologies.
