What you will do

• Perform routine care and maintenance of the golf course using landscaping and lawn care equipment.
• Inspect and maintain grounds vehicles, tools, and heavy equipment.
• Execute landscaping duties including planting, grading, trimming, mowing, and trash pickup.
• Manage road maintenance and operate heavy machinery such as backhoes, skid steers, and excavators.
• Carry out general mechanical and maintenance repairs for town property and buildings.
• Maintain a positive and customer-friendly demeanor to ensure all areas are well presented.

Requirements

• Must be able to work full-time hours for the entire season from April through November.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (backhoe, skid steer, excavator, etc.).
• Proficiency in using hand or riding mowers and tools for trimming and edging.
• Good mechanical ability with general handyman skills.

• Previous labor or grounds maintenance experience.
