What you will do
- Own the ongoing performance of assigned content by monitoring, auditing, and optimizing pages for English-speaking audiences.
- Play an active role in the end-to-end content production process, including budget awareness and managing freelancer and agency relationships.
- Elevate content quality by applying Google best practices and market insights to ensure content is structured, relevant, and valuable.
- Integrate SEO principles into content briefs, enabling writers to deliver high-performing, intent-driven content.
- Act as a subject matter expert on audience interests across key sports, including football, hockey, basketball, and baseball.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve content and processes, raising the overall standard and impact of content across the team.
Requirements
- Strong track record of publishing or editing high-quality content.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a sharp eye for clarity, structure, and tone.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them effectively.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and take ownership.
- Strong communication skills and openness to giving and receiving feedback.
- Ability to manage varied workloads in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Hiring process
