What you will do

• Own and evolve cloud (AWS) and on-premise infrastructure for single-tenant and hybrid deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and implement strong observability via monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Architect infrastructure security, including VPC/network design, IAM, and secure cloud-to-on-prem connectivity.
• Design, test, and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure system resilience.
• Establish infrastructure standards and automation to enable high engineering velocity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Experience operating production systems at an early-stage or growth-stage startup.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, including networking, security, and cost management.
• Proficiency in Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines and production observability.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area for a hybrid work schedule (Tues/Wed/Thurs in-office).

Nice to have

• Experience supporting systems in regulated environments (healthcare, life sciences, finance).
• Familiarity with Python/Django production environments.
• Experience supporting AI/ML systems in production.
