TL;DR

Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Cloud/SRE): Designing and developing high-quality, scalable software and infrastructure for a SaaS platform with an accent on reliability, automation, and security. Focus on improving system operability, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring strict PCI compliance.

Location: Auckland, New Zealand. Must reside in New Zealand or be a New Zealand citizen/permanent resident with valid travel conditions.

What you will do

  • Design and develop high-quality software and infrastructure to deliver business value in a collaborative environment.
  • Develop automation tools and produce clean, efficient code to increase team velocity.
  • Maintain systems through a mix of manual and automated techniques and participate in on-call support.
  • Conduct SRE operability and architecture reviews across various engineering teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and break down complex technical work into manageable pieces.
  • Ensure system security and strict adherence to PCI compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant SRE, systems, or software engineering experience with internet-scale products.
  • Proficiency in Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloudformation).
  • Strong experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, Rust, JavaScript, or .NET.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and version control (Git).
  • Must reside in New Zealand or be a NZ citizen/permanent resident with valid travel conditions.
  • Applicable tertiary qualifications.
