What you will do

• Design and evolve large-scale distributed backend systems that power data and AI products.
• Own services end-to-end, from initial architecture and design to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Build infrastructure and data pipelines to support machine learning, analytics, and real-time use cases.
• Drive system performance, scalability, and reliability using data and metrics to guide decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams to translate complex data into product features.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar through design discussions and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience in high-scale B2B SaaS or data-driven products.
• Strong proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, Go, Node.js, or .NET.
• Deep experience with MongoDB and Google Cloud data technologies (BigQuery, Bigtable).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade distributed systems.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating or building on top of LLM APIs or AI services.
• Exposure to AI/ML-adjacent systems such as feature stores or model serving.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks for effective full-stack collaboration.
• Active adoption and integration of emerging AI tools into engineering workflows.
