TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Python): Developing a large-scale supply chain transparency and product provenance platform with an accent on distributed ledger systems and AI. Focus on building secure APIs, optimizing relational databases, and implementing event-driven architectures to ensure global product authenticity.

Location: Hybrid (Warsaw, Poland) - Remote working model with a requirement to visit the office once every 2 months.

Salary: 180–200 PLN per hour

What you will do

Design and develop high-performance APIs using Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy.
Manage and optimize data storage using PostgreSQL and other relational databases.
Ensure system stability through the implementation of rigorous unit and integration testing.
Apply best-practice engineering principles, including CI/CD pipelines and thorough code reviews.
Contribute to a large-scale platform tracking millions of products worldwide.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with web frameworks.
Proven expertise in building APIs and working with PostgreSQL.
Commitment to engineering excellence and the "Keep it simple, stupid" principle.
Must be available to visit the Warsaw office once every 2 months.

Nice to have

Experience with Rust or other strongly typed languages (e.g., mypy).
Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with Linux and Docker.
Basic awareness of Kubernetes.
