What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based core libraries and frameworks.
• Collaborate with traders and research teams to gather requirements for new analytics and trading tools.
• Improve the performance, scalability, and maintainability of the Python platform.
• Provide L1/L2 support to Front Office users to ensure system stability during market hours.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents efficiently.
• Develop tools to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong Python proficiency with expertise in performance-aware coding.
• Solid knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments for production and debugging.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; the company does not offer visa sponsorship.
